High-Temperature Insulating Silicone Fiberglass Sleeve from China Factory - Reliable Suppliers for Overhead Line Protection

,

Product Overview

,

Introducing our Silicone Fiberglass Sleeve, a premier product in the realm of electrical insulation and protective tubing. These sleeves, also referred to as fiber casings or fiberglass insulation sleeves, are meticulously crafted by braiding alkali-free glass fiber yarn into a sturdy tubular form. The tubes are then coated with high-performance resins, including PVC, silicone resin, and silicone rubber, and undergo advanced processes such as plastification or vulcanization. This innovative series strategically combines the remarkable strength and heat resistance of fiberglass with the exceptional qualities of various coatings, offering superior insulation, flame retardancy, and chemical resistance.

,

Manufactured in our state-of-the-art factory in China, our Silicone Fiberglass Sleeves deliver reliable mechanical protection and environmental resistance for a wide array of applications, including wires, harnesses, and components used in motors, electrical appliances, instruments, and diverse industrial equipment. Depending on the outer coating material, we provide several key variants such as PVC fiberglass sleeves, silicone resin fiberglass sleeves, and silicone rubber fiberglass sleeves, also known as fire-resisting sleeves. As a leading supplier, we ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Product Features & Core Advantages
  • ◎ Excellent High-Temperature Resistance

Benefiting from the stability of the fiberglass substrate, the products offer a wide operating temperature range. For instance, silicone rubber fiberglass sleeve can be used continuously from -65°C to 260°C while maintaining flexibility. Silicone resin fiberglass sleeve has a continuous operating temperature of up to 200°C, with short-term tolerance of 260°C. PVC fiberglass sleeve withstands temperatures up to 105°C. Some fiber casings are suitable for continuous high-temperature operation at 538°C.

  • ◎ Superior Electrical Insulation

The products possess strong insulating capabilities, suitable for high-voltage environments. For example, silicone resin fiberglass sleeve has voltage withstand ratings from 1200V to 7000V, with some products rated at 1.5KV, 4KV, or higher. The room temperature breakdown voltage for PVC fiberglass sleeve is 2000V. Their dielectric properties, voltage endurance, arc resistance, and corona resistance are excellent, making them ideal electrical insulation materials.

  • ◎ Reliable Flame Retardancy & Fire Safety

Most products feature good self-extinguishing properties, quenching rapidly upon removal from a flame source, and comply with flame retardant standards like VW-1. Products like silicone rubber fiberglass sleeve are also known as fire-resisting sleeves and serve as safe, eco-friendly alternatives to hazardous materials like asbestos.

  • ◎ Good Mechanical & Chemical Protection

The braided structure provides good flexibility and bend adaptability, facilitating wiring in complex spaces. Additionally, the products offer tear resistance, abrasion resistance, and provide a degree of water, oil, ozone, and chemical stability, protecting internal cables from mechanical damage and chemical corrosion.

  • ◎ Diverse Specifications & Certifications

The product diameter range is extensive, commonly from Φ0.8mm to Φ40mm, with special models up to Φ35.0mm or larger to meet different wire gauge needs. A variety of colors are available, such as white, black, red, blue, etc. Products typically comply with environmental and safety certifications like SGS and ROHS.

🔧 Installation & Usage Guide

◎ Selection Guide: Choose the appropriate coating type and size based on the maximum operating temperature, required insulation level (voltage rating), harness diameter, and flame retardancy requirements of the actual application environment.

◎ Installation Method: Slide the sleeving directly over the wire or harness to be protected. It can be cut to specific lengths as needed. Its flexibility allows easy bending to follow wiring paths.

◎ Precautions:
• Although heat resistant, avoid prolonged direct contact with open flames or extreme heat sources exceeding the product's rated temperature.
• For applications requiring embedding in walls or concrete, note that wire replacement during maintenance might be more difficult compared to rigid conduit, and concrete curing may cause slight deformation of the sleeve.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight to slow material aging.
